Follow these steps to hand wash these sarees at most care:

• For the first time wash it with normal water and salt and soak it for 3mins.
• Second, wash onwards wash the cotton saree with normal water.
• Use baby shampoo or mild soap.
• Allow the excess water to drain off by hanging it.
• Once in a while starch cotton sarees.
• Dry it in the shade.
• Don’t brush the saree vigorously.
• Don’t wring it vigorously.
• Don’t twist.
