• Wash the cotton saree with normal water.

• Use baby shampoo or mild soap.

• Allow the excess water to drain off by hanging it.

• Once in a while starch cotton sarees.

• Dry it in the shade.

• Don’t brush the saree vigorously.

• Don’t wring it vigorously.

• Don’t twist.

• Don’t bundle, pile, and keep it wet for a long time.
