Follow these steps to hand wash these sarees at most care:

For the first time wash it with normal water and salt and soak it for 3mins.
Second, wash onwards wash the cotton saree with normal water.
Use baby shampoo or mild soap.
Allow the excess water to drain off by hanging it.
Once in a while starch cotton sarees.
Dry it in the shade.
Don’t brush the saree vigorously.
Don’t wring it vigorously.
Don’t twist.
