Follow these steps to hand wash these sarees at most care:
- For the first time wash it with normal water and salt and soak it for 3mins.
- Second, wash onwards wash the cotton saree with normal water.
- Use baby shampoo or mild soap.
- Allow the excess water to drain off by hanging it.
- Once in a while starch cotton sarees.
- Dry it in the shade.
- Don’t brush the saree vigorously.
- Don’t wring it vigorously.
- Don’t twist.
